Our scope
Exulans Enterprises engages across the full upstream-to-early-midstream chain: lease acquisition, drilling programs, completion strategy, production optimization, artificial lift design, and offtake alignment. We structure projects to return cash, not just prove reserves.
- Lease acquisition & mineral rights We secure acreage with attractive formation characteristics, existing takeaway access, and favorable royalty structures. We negotiate terms to protect long-term production economics.
- Drilling & completion planning We design programs around real, current service costs and rig availability. We define lateral length, stage count, fluids strategy, and proppant load based on expected decline curves, not slideware type curves.
- Field development & production operations We oversee well completion, flowback, artificial lift selection, and early production tuning. We monitor underperforming wells and intervene early to preserve curve integrity.
- Water, gathering & disposal strategy We plan produced water handling, saltwater disposal, and gathering buildout to prevent bottlenecks that strangle production rates.
- Commercial offtake We align production with downstream buyers and infrastructure. The goal is to solve “where does it go?” before first oil, not after.
Regulatory, safety & ESG posture
We build projects that can actually stay online. That means surface impact management, emissions awareness, and compliance built in at the pad design level — so you’re not retrofitting after inspectors show up.
- Permitting & compliance Well permitting, spacing exceptions, disposal approvals, pipeline ROW, and environmental filings are tracked and managed to reduce stoppage risk.
- Operational safety We enforce field standards around pressure control, flowback handling, chemical management, and contractor scope clarity to keep uptime high and incidents low.
- Surface stewardship We plan pads, roads, and laydown areas to minimize footprint, reduce conflict, and simplify landowner relations over multi-year production.
Tying hydrocarbons to power and infrastructure
Hydrocarbon production is no longer isolated. The same industrial campuses that demand power, data, and process heat often benefit from colocated oil & gas production and liquids handling. We design development strategies that plug directly into:
- • On-site or adjacent power generation
- • Process heat and feedstock for industrial manufacturing
- • Midstream / blending opportunities that improve realized pricing
- • Local economic development goals that make approvals easier to secure
Why Exulans
We approach oil & gas like an operating company, not a flyer. We care about controllable decline, uninterrupted production, and the ability to raise or place capital behind assets that are engineered, permitted, and commercially real.
